Health Benefits

Green Snail Spring contains many antioxidants that help protect our bodies from damage caused by harmful molecules called free radicals. When free radicals build up in our bodies, they can contribute to various health problems and accelerate the aging process. Antioxidants like EGCG work by neutralizing free radicals. They do this by donating an electron to the free radicals, which helps stabilize them and prevent them from causing damage to our cells and tissues.

Flavor Profile

Green Snail Spring has prominent floral notes. It exhibits a delicate and aromatic floral character, often with hints of orchid or jasmine. The floral elements contribute to the tea's overall elegance and fragrance. It carries a gentle, natural sweetness. It is not overly sweet but offers a mild sweetness that complements the floral and fruity aspects of the tea. The sweetness adds depth and balance to the overall flavor profile. It also may have a subtle hint of fruitiness. It can evoke flavors of ripe apricots or peaches, adding a pleasant fruity undertone to the tea experience.

Origin Source

We get this tea from the mountains just outside of Shanghai. As we are located very close to the tea fields, it's easy for us to source very high quality tea for this strain. It grows along Lake Tai, a large freshwater lake located in the Jiangsu province of China, bordering cities like Shanghai and Suzhou. The region surrounding Taihu is renowned for its tea production and is considered one of the key tea-growing areas in China. The fertile soil, favorable climate, and abundant rainfall in this region provide ideal conditions for tea cultivation.
